Congrats card and more

Hello Everyone. I'm so glad you stopped by my blog today. If you came from The Card A Day Blog http://cardadayblog.blogspot.com/ where I am the card designer today   THANK YOU!! so much. I glad you came by to see how I made this grad card. I also used the same design to make a birthday card.
I made this card with my Gypsy. I took the numbers 2012 and a  couple rectangles and welded then together. The card turned out to be 4x6 inches. I cut the YOU DID IT at 2 inches from Beyond Birthday Cart.
This is how it looks when cut. I folded it over and cut white cardstock 1.34x 5.34. I stamped the inside with a congrats stamp.
This card could be used for lots of other celebrations other than just graduation. You could cut the numbers of the year of your children or friends birth and it would make a great birthday card, as I have done here. You could use the date of a marriage for a wonderful Anniversary card. So many uses!!!! I love that.

Here I used 1979 ( the birth year of my twins) and some K and Co die cuts to make a cute Birthday card.
Thanks again for stopping by.

  3. So glad you liked them. They are great fun to make and lots of possibilities. The "2" hats were just a coincidence. That's how the 2's cut!! The letters are from the Blackletter cart. Thank you ladies!!!
