Fiskars Fuse Diecutting System.. Im in love

Hello Cardmakers!
Tonight I did a quick video about my new toy. I just got the New Fiskars Fuse diecutting machine. I just love this thing. It is very heavy duty and I feel like a professional!!
The video and sound are not in sync for some reason. If you know how to fix this problem please let me know. It driving me crazy. I have no idea if its me or my new camera. Maybe both ? lol
If you have any questions please email me at Sugarlite02@aol.com

Here is the first card I made using the Fiskars Fuse  Diecutting System.

Hello Everyone. Im so glad you stopped by my blog today because today I am the desginer over at the Card A Day blog. So if you came from there WELCOME my freind!

Cardaday.blogspot.com

Now on to the cute little card I made to celebrate a teen's birthday! It was simple to put together. I used one Cricut cart, Tim Hotz  small Rosette die and lots of sentiment rub ons.

Heres the list
5 inch scalloped  circle folded in half

1/2 x 4 strip to make the easel. Fold in half and glue inside the scalloped circle ( see pic)

4 1/2 x 5 mat. glue mat to folded scalloped circle ( see pic)

4 x 4 3/4 mat. use decorative corner rounder on all four corners. Glue to first mat.

Cut sneakers from Slumber Party cart at 3 1/2 inches. I modified the sole of my sneaker, cutting off the toe part. Then I cut off paper bow. Use small hole punch to make holes along edge of the sneaker ( see pic). Add ribbon or yarn as I have done here. Run through holes and tape at the back, tie at top ( see pic). Use foam tape to add to the mat.

Make TH's small rosette. I used some small rub on numbers for the center of the rosette.

I added a rub on to the pink metal tag and used foam tape to apply to card.

Interlocking Gatefold Card

Hello Card Makers!! Welcome to my blog
I have good news about my brother. He will be heading home from the hospital very soon. He got great news from his doctors today! God is so good! Thank you for your prayers.

Here is the video I was trying to get made this weekend. I have a new camera. I was hoping for a great video but that didnt really turn out. The sound doesnt seem to match the screen. Im not sure why that is. Id love to blame it on Youtube but not this time. It seems to be me. I will keep working on it and see if  I can correct it. Until then please enjoy this wonderful card but crappy video.

I saw a lady on youtube making this great card using Spellbinders  dies. They will be coming out in this summer CHA. In my video I give you the link to her orginal card. Please be sure and check it out. It is awsome. I also give you a link to where you can preorder the new dies. But if you dont get the new dies and have a cricut you can still make my version of the Interlocking Gatefold Card.
Thanks for watching.

In need of your prayers

Hello Everyone
I so wanted to have a new video posted today. I'm sorry but I have been so busy with personal issues It looks like it will be up tomorrow.
On Saturday my brother  James age 38 had an accident at work that triggered a heart attack. He had to have surgery and spent the weekend in ICU. He is doing well and we are very grateful that God has been watching out for him. My brother is working in Hartford  Connecticut . You dont realize how so very far from Texas that is until something like this happens. When they called us from the emergency room we had no idea he would be in surgery within the hour. We were still trying to gather information on his condition and location. When doctors in Hartford moved him into surgery before we could even think of heading that way.
Please remember my brother in your prayers. It has been a long weekend for everyone.
Thank you so much. Come back tomorrow where I hope to  have my version of the Interlocking
Gatefold card video up.

My book mark video

Wow youtube does some funny things. Last week I uploaded my bookmark video. Youtube uploaded another video..not mine. I never checked it until tonight. I was looking at my blog and I didn't recognize the video pic. So I clicked the video and discovered it wasn't even my video. LOL Wow that what I get for posting late at night and not checking the video the next morning. I promise to not so that again. So here is the right video on how I made my bookmark card. This card is different than the card I have in the post.
Hopefully you will like it! Thanks for taking another look at my video.

Red White Blue and Thankful

Hello Card Markers welcome to my blog. If you came from the Card a Day blog.....I'm so happy you came over to see how easy this cute card was to make. I got this idea from the cricut manual that came with the cartridge Stand and Salute. I wanted this cart for a long time. However since it was a very speciality cart I had to get it at the right price. So I kept my eye on eBay and a few other places. I finally found it at Micheal's when they had a great sale I got it for 20.  This cart has some great cuts on it. If you have it , get it out and make some great Thank You cards for the troops.

Here's how I made mine.
Card is 5x.6.5
Front Eagle cut at 2.
Iinside eagle cut at 2.5
Star cut at 1.5
Heart Spellbinders  Classic Scalloped heart  (4th size down)
Medal ribbon cut at 3.5
Front Stamp by Studio G
Inside stamp from stash ( im 99% sure it came from Joanns)
Mat and Inside star paper 3x4.75
White card stock 2.25x 3

This card would make a great Fathers Day card  especially if your dad was in the military.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog.

Fathers Day Card 2012

Hello Card markers. I am excited to show you the Fathers day card I made. I did surprise myself and used a ton of different die cuts. More than I usually use for such a simple card. But it turned out great!
I will tell you the video screen is green.. why? I have no idea. I'm sure I did something to it but cant seem to fix it.
I am very blessed and the very happy owner of a new computer. This computer has software I'm not used to using. So I think I did something and changed part of the screen. I will figure it out and with better lighting my next video will be back it its normal average self !
Thanks for watching. I hope you enjoy and make this adorable card.

My first video after a long break !!!

Hello Everyone!
I'm so happy to be back making some card videos. I have so missed the process. I have been very busy making card's and creating project's. However my computer has been down. and I have been unable to post anything. It has been a big downer to be constantly navigating computers mishaps. I'm hoping that all that is almost behind me. I have this computer running at about 35% while I'm working on a whole new one. The process of making this video and  posting it on youtube, then getting this video over to my blog has taken about 8 hours of work.  See how much I have missed ya'll!

Now on to the fun stuff.. Card making!!!!
I hope you enjoy this card and video. It is an easy card to make and looks like a million bucks. I like when the end results look better than the effort it took to create it!
