Decoupaged Shirt Box
I did a video on a shirt box I decoupaged with paper napkins. This makes a great way to give a gift. I used Beccons Fast Finish decoupage glue. I really like this over mod podge but you can use that as well.
Thank you for watching this the last video of the year. I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and the happiest of New Years.

Altered Jewerly Box
This is the finished jewerly box I altered.
I used burlap and solid foam stamps. At the end I decided to use one big stamp instead of the smaller ones.Use stazon ink,old jewerly box and some a foam stamp.
I found my jewerly box at a thrift store for $1.00. It had some damage on the top but otherwise in great shape.
I stamped the burlap with a large butterfly foam stamp. I applied the burlap with Mod Podge to the top of the jewerly box.
I added trim and embellished the top with flowers, jewels and trinkets.
Thanks for stoping by my blog

Weekly Calendar for my New Kitchen--HUGE
Hello Everyone. I hope you have having a great weekend. All my christmas shopping is done !!!! happy dance!!!!! so I had time to play in my craftroom. Here is what I made this afternoon.
I have a great new kitchen with a BIG empty wall. I wanted an art project to place on that huge wall. So when I saw this weekly calendar. I found this calender while playing on Pinterst the other day. It was perfect. The calendar is made with 8 Photo frames with glass and scrapbooking paper.
This is a very easy project to do. Choose 8 frames from 5x7 or 8x10 or the 8.5x11. Depending on how big you want to make your calendar. Each of my frames are 8.5x11. I got mine at the Dollar Tree. I cut the letters from Storybook at 3 1/4 in black vinyl. The papers came from a paper pack from Walmart.
Open up the frame and insert the decorative paper. Place the frame back together. I hot glued all 8 frames together. Then I labeled them by the day. The 8th one is to write notes on or add a quote. I took a dry erase marker and taped string around the bottom of the marker. I then hung it with a push pin next to the calendar. You simply erase the glass with a dry paper towel. You get bored with the paper you can change it out. EASY PEASY
Here is where you can see the original http://fey-next2heaven.blogspot.com/2011/09/our-launch-pad-new-weekly-calendar.html

| I usually place a large green wreath here but I like this hanging here too |
| My glass outside door will protect the sign from the weather. |
I made this Christmas Wall hanging from a wall hanging I saw at walmart. They are in the jewelry department. The ones at Walmart were just gorgeous and weren't expensive at all. But why pay $12 for something I could make for less than a $1.00.
I ran to Dollar Tree and bought 3 shirt boxes for a $1. I wrapped the box in green wrapping paper. I used 2
large and 2 small plastic tree ornament's. I used a heavy wire I already had.
I put a hole in the plastic balls with an exacto knife and ran the wire through. Between each ball I made a loop with the wire to hold the ball in place. I then covered the loop with a red pom-pom but a ribbon would twice as cute ( thinking of changing mine). To hide the lip on the ornaments I wrapped tinsel around the lip ( were the wire hanger would be). I used the exacto knife to put a whole in the end and top of 2 ends of the box.The Merry Christmas letters I cut from card stock from Songbird cart. The angel was cut from Joys of the Seasons cart.

Quick trip to Mardi Gra ( New Orleans)..... Ohhhhhh how fun
My brother ask me to make him a Mardi Gra tree. I made him one a few years ago and he loved it. He loves Mardi Gra and has friends in New Orleans. He is heading to NO for New years and wanted to take them a MG tree. He wanted a small tree and also wanted me to decorate it for $20.
To do that I would have to make most of the decorations. MG colors are green gold and purple. I could find plenty of gold in the cheapo section of any Christmas store decoration dept but the green and purple proved harder to find at a bargain. I started off with gold pre lit tree. At the dollar store I found a purple boa, purple tinsel, and purple string beads. I bought white Santa head, white birds and brown/white birds. I dyed them all purple and hot glued them to the tree. I also glittered the inside of a few small ornaments purple. I sprayed painted some large bells I already had purple and some green.
I couldn't find anything in the green color that was at a reasonable price. So I made a few things in green. I glittered the outside of a few Christmas ornaments too. I cut mask and jester hat from green card stock from Designer Calendar cart. I hot glued everything to the tree.
I hear in NO they leave their Christmas tree up until Mardi Gra and just change out the decorations. Now his friend will have her own MG tree. This was a lot of fun to make. Brought back some happy memories for me too. NO is a beauitful city. If you ever get the chance to go you should.

Reindeer Noses
I wanted to share with you these adorable little Reindeer Noses pouch I made yesterday.
They are so simple and quick to put together. They would make a great treat for any office or kiddos treat bags.
They consist of 8 Malt Balls and one Cherry Sour candy. You could use a simple sandwich baggies. Here I used a treat bag cut down to 6 inches. I printed the sentiment off my computer onto card stock. Then used a circle punch (1 1/2 inches) to cut them out. I cut the scalloped circle from my cricut at 1 3/4 inches. I placed a solid white circle on the back of the red scalloped to write a sentiment. I tied it with red and white yarn.
I made 16 of these yesterday and they took no time at all.... Easy peasy. You are sure to get a smile when you pass theses around the office.

Happy 31st Birthday Card
Hello everyone!
This is a card I made for a friends daughter's 31st birthday. I started with a 5x7 card and rounded one edge.
The clock from the front was cut from the Picturesque Cart. The cake was cut from Birthday Bash. The inside sentiment was printed from my computer. I used a center key on my cricut to cut around it with Elegant Edges cart. The 31 was cut from StoryBook cart. I used SNOW-TEX for some texture on the cake.
This was a fun card to make. Have a great day. Thank you so very much for stopping by my blog.

Tims Tag # 12 Final Tag
Wow, what a tag Tim had for us this morning. I knew when I saw it that I was in trouble. I didn't have the little lady he had displayed on his gorgeous tag. I also do not have any of his tissue paper. BUT I DO WANT THAT ( pretty please Santa).....So I had to improvise.
I just cut out by hand a body out of card stock. I did have a great crown and wings. They were all one necklace this morning. I cut them apart and glued them to the tag. The heart and the snow flake ( attached to a silver button) are all from my stash. I had a paper napkin that had some script on it. So I fringed it and made a flower. I loved the look for the flower and plan to use that again. The letters I cut from Storybook at 3/4 inches and painted silver. I used tinsel for the bottom. I used a script stamp for the background. Then painted the tag white. Then turned the tag and stamped a music note stamp across the tag.
If I had the little lady I would have loved this tag. Some things you just cant skimp on. You have to give me credit for trying LOL
Thanks for sticking with me for the 12 Tags. I had fun! I hope you did too. The comment's have all been so nice. Thank you all!!
Tomorrow I will NOT be posting a Tag :)

Tim's tag #11
Today's tag had some great techniques but I didn't have the time to execute them all. I do have some Shrinky Dink that would have worked. Today however was my Christmas shopping day. So I set out early this morning with a friend to get all the shopping finished. We managed to dwell our list down a bit. Next week I will get the hard to shop for people ( you know who you are), all finished up.
So here is what I did. I cut the tag at 3 inches out of embossed blue card stock. The Santa is from a stamp set I have. I inked around him and colored in his suit with a black marker. The Merry Christmas was printed from my computer. I inked round it too. I hand cut the branch and added tinsel. I splattered the tag with silver metallic ink for the back ground.
That's about it. Tomorrow is the last day for the tags. We will see what Tim has in store for us. Im sure it will be fun. Thanks for stopping by
