I have decided to move

I have decided to move. Goodbye cute little cottage. My lease has been up for sometime here and I thought I would just stay. I hate moving so it seemed the sensible thing to do. Right ? since I just repaint the kitchen and living room . But I stepped back and thought hmmmmm no matter how lovely the paint is.. I'm just not happy here. So I found a wonderful house to lease and I'm moving!!!! So I will try and get the 3 video's I had planned done before I pack it all in and move on out!

The one thing I'm so excited about is the new place has place for a huge craft room. The new room is about a 15x15. Here I have a 10 x 10 room. way to small for all my craft stuff!!! So hopefully the plans for a bigger room will help motivate me with all the back breaking moving. I dread all the packing and unpacking and the moving!!

Good thing is the weather will be cooler than it has been in the past 6 months. I better get started on those videos. Wish me luck!!!!!!!! I think I will need it. I hate moving!!!

The Bug Magazine has arrived

The Bug Magazine has arrived!!!!! Today I got my copy of The Bug Magazine that I have 3 submission in.
One is a tag I did to celebrate Grandparents day. The other is a tissue and wrap Anniversary card. The other one is a napkin and wrap Fall card.
I will be doing a video on the cards later this week. I was hoping to have it done by now but I have been lost in home repairs. I have been painting my kitchen. I choose a lovely green for my kitchen redo but it turned out to be Cricut green. Dont get me wrong I love that color of  green. However maybe not the best color for a kitchen. So off to Lowes I go again to try another color. I am  so very color challenged. I had a friend once that was so good at paint choices. I miss that talent now. Maybe if he stops by my blog he will offer to give me some help!! I think im on my own here, tho. So I wont have time to get the video done today.  Here are the pictures until then.

Thanks and Happy Crafting

Terri
This was done with a napkin and a cricut cut.

Giant  tag is 11 1/2 inches and pictures of my granddaughter on the wall. In the video I will show you how I made the cricut head and the tiny Cricut cartridges.

Made with 2 tissue paper's from Hallmark and a cricut cut

The inside was from a cricut cart and a stamp

Off on a road trip

Wow!! In a few days it will be my birthday. I'm not sure how I feel about that. When you hit 50 I think something changes for you. You stop worrying about what everyone thinks and decide to do your own thing more often. I have decided for my birthday I want to go to OK City to see an art exhibit of the 400 year anniversary of the King James Bible. Sounds like it will be a fun and informational exhibit. No one else wanted to see the exhibit So I'm taking myself on a short few days trip for my birthday. Along the way to OK City I plan to stop by a few scrap booking stores and a stamp shop or two.
Here is the link to the Exhibit     EXPLOREPASSAGES.com
They will be there until October then its off to the Vatican.

When I get back I hope to post a video of our last card swap. The card's are so wonderful!!!! I also have a few cards I have been working on for the next swap. I also have those 6x6 pages for the Ranger swap that are driving me crazy.I'll also post some info on the stores I stopped at along the way. I will post all that when I get back!!

Honeycomb Pumpkin Cards

Hello Everyone
Thank you for stopping by my blog and taking a look at some of my cards. I'm still in shock that I have reached over 100 followers. Thank you so much!!!!! You have no idea what that means to me.
I have been working on some cards that are for one of the swaps I signed up. Here are some pics. These cards were made with some Halloween decorations I found at the Dollar Tree. I made 6 of these cards.
In trying to fill  some large blocks of time that I have found myself with, I think I may have signed up for to many swaps. I have so many cards left to make. I have been having a blast however working with so much paper and Ranger Inks. I am in the middle of my first Ranger product card swap. There are 20 6x6 pages to be made. I am a bit behind. Im on my 3rd sketch and still not 100% decided what the outcome will be. As soon as I'm done I will post the pages. I decided to work on these 6 cards while I was taking a break from the Ranger  6x6 pages. Now that I am done with this set of cards. I will get back to my  other swap cards.
Have a great week. I am so glad Fall is coming to Texas!!!! Funny when low 90's feel like a Fall day!!!!

I got this idea from watching a video from Inky Antics, They have some new honeycomb paper and stamps sets. Here is the video http://www.inkyantics.com/honeypop.htm
Pumpkins were cut at 2" and 1 1/2 from MS Seasonal Cake Cart. The arrow was cut  at 4" from Sans Serif cart. The sentiment was a stamp. The bookplate is a Sizzix die.

Inside mat was cut at 7 3./4 by 4 3/4. The stamp was a $1 stamp from Michaels. I rounded the corners with my MS corner rounder

The honeycombs came from The Dollar Tree. I found these in the halloween section. They came 6 to a package.

Stick Pin Dress Form

She is made from wire and stands about 12 inches tall

I stuffed her with fiberfill before I wrapped her in fabric.

The fiberfill will hold all the stick pins in place.

I used hot glue to hold the fabric on the frame.

I used tulle to wrap around her waist and for her scarf. She is a wonderful place to hold stick pins. She will be a gift for a lovely lady that sent me a wonderful RAK along with a napkin swap.
